1981 Wagoneer restauration

Post by litox »

Hi all. Been lurking for some time here learning and getting ideas. Here is my 1981 manual transmission Wagoneer almost ready. Missing some interior details and bumpers.

Hope you like it and thanks for all the ideas and help. Greetings from Mexico.

I am glad you joined and thank you for posting a couple of pictures! That's a good looking rig and I like the fender flares. It's a good looking color too.
Post some more pics if you get a chance. And some more details too. Welcome to the board!

Welcome to the asylum, Very nice paint scheme, super classy, it is very a light grey?

as usual I recommend the ammeter bypass, and swapping a voltmeter to replace the ammeter

and cleaning the cowl duct, but in Mexico it might not be as bad as north of the border

Thanks for the tips... Will definitely look into doing them.. will also post more pics as soon as I get the bumpers and rocksliders installed as well as more details about the restoration process.

Thank you also for the warm welcome. Looking forward to learn more from all you guys.

It is a light grey color.

Wonderful job on the Wagoneer. What type of flares did you install? Thanks in advance.

Love it! I like the Clean Paint [white is my favorite-Dark Green my 2nd] and the flare look good. Much better than what I've seen in the past.

Great looking waggy!!

The roof rack looks like a good fit. Can you provide the brand/model and clamps? I have a wide-tracked wagoneer as well and intend on putting a drip rail mounted rack on it.
One day I will wake up and realize that my jeep is complete...one day, I just know it.
