Looks like it was a fun trip. Not so much geology though ... the geology of Cascadia is really interesting. If you like that kind of stuff, I suggest watching the lectures by Nick Zentner of Central Washington University. Besides discussing the origins of the land, I expect these lectures would give you lots of places to go in the area where you can see the rocks and land forms first-hand.
