Tapatalk? Do I need it?

Post by Tatsadasayago »

I often see posts ending with 'Sent using tapatalk' and tonight I wondered if installing it might make visiting the forum with my Moto G better than using the browser.

Are there some super cool usability features I don't know about?
Would someone please give me the lowdown on this app?

Thanks,
Jim

I use it mostly to not have to use a camera and then move pic to pc, then to a pic hosting site just to post a pic. I do not get on the website of most of my forums any longer. I am using it on my iPad right now.

Its very handy for uploading images. Its also nice if you go to multiple forums like I do.

It is a bit better for phones IMHO, even with the new forum style that is far better for mobile than the old one was. Its a free app, so install it and give it a try.

The part that is annoying is that they just started putting ads in it. Looking this morning, there was a F*rd ad listed as a thread... :x

Thats actually been there for about 9 months now. Its the reason the app is free instead of $2.99. Its fairly obvious which ones are ads though. And you should never have to worry about sketchy ads.

I'd pay $2.99 for them to not be there
