Really enjoyed going through your build thread. I'd like to get two sets of the armrest repair blocks and 1 of the window relay kits. Please PM me when you have a chance.

Sirrus,

Could the relay module conceivably be used on the power seat switches as well?

Interesting idea. Probably not “as is”, but let me look at power seats schematic. I guess you can find a location under or on the seat to mount it.

However power seats should be ok even without relays -small gauge wiring is not that long and each seat has good power supply feed.

If yours are moving slow, not moving at all or doing it intermittently you’d be better with taking switches out and cleaning them first. That usually brings them back to life, mine were not working at all when I got my Jeep and everything is moving after proper cleaning. Those switches are close to the floor and suffer from high humidity a lot. Mine were outright nasty inside, with charred contacts and some sort of white mold on them (you can check my build thread for pics). Cleaning switches is easy as long as you don’t loose any small parts and pay attention when disassembling and assembling them back. Check link in my sig for more info on that process

Finally got around to getting the relay module installed for one of the power windows... I don't think your video did the improvement justice!  Very happy with my window performance now.  The armrest blocks worked like a charm too. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! Glad to hear there's one more FSJ with windows moving faster than molasses :) I guess my windows were not that slow to begin with, and I've rebuilt/cleaned switches prior to taking that video.

I've just replied to your email about relay modules.
