TITD 2017 - Early Friday Arrival Wheeling thread

Post by will e »

This thread is for folks who want to show up a day early (Friday) and go wheeling.

If you are attending TITD you need to sign up here: http://www.fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewtop ... 37&t=13144

MEET AT THE CAMP SPOT.

Let's see who shows up, what they are bringing and we can decide on trails. Maybe even split up if some folks want to do some harder trails and others don't.
I want to get to the camp spot and set up a bit to make sure we 'stake our claim' before we head out wheeling. (Anyone remember the motorhome from last year??)

Participants:
Mike (Will e)
Jeff/Shauna/Jeep the dog (locked and loaded)
John (motcat)
Jerry
F~n~K and Noodle dog
Tad
Rstep (maybe)

Talking about it on Facebook

Which we know isn't accurate. I think we would have noticed them in the previous years. ;)

Trusting souls. Remember how they left it there for the night? I wonder if they will try to get there earlier this year. Maybe I will head out earlier and pitch up an old tent. Set an old cooler out, some of my old chairs. lol

Daniel and I will be up Friday bringing both the pushmobile and the F350, that way the pushmobile is empty and ready to wheel.
F'nK' are also staying here with me, they have keys so it's up to them when they get there.
We will probably not head out until the traffic thins out Friday morning, that puts us there around 10:30-11am.

We will probably eat here in Tucson while we wait for the morning traffic to clear on the NW side and just head straight out to the camp site except maybe for gas and ice.

Okay, camp spot it is. That's smarter because it means an over all earlier arrival. I will try to get there as early as I can to claim the spot.

The KIA has fresh oil/filter/cabin filter/wipers. Got road snacks and coffee. Krista lined us up with a new gal to care for all the critters. Getting close. We peel out Thursday as early as possible. Stick to the plan.
