Unfortunately being in the lead on a trail you have never done means you don't get very good or complete pic's and of course none of yourself.
I should be able to get to them this weekend.
Wait, you were the visitor from AZ and they let you lead?

Safe travels, that is a lot of miles logged. It will feel good to get home. (except it is 110 plus degrees outside)...

Can't take credit for that.
I was out front and had Rick Casey as my co-pilot (Casey from the ifsja years).
He knows the trail well and is one of the best spotters I have worked with.
I didn't get much spotting services though, he was busy with the other two new guys that were behind me.

Hey Tim (and Sarah) how are you guys doing? Any thoughts about making it back out to Ouray one year? After seeing the ECI pics I am kicking the idea of heading out for an East Coast Invasion sometime.

Have you done any awesome vacation write ups? I don't remember any recently.

How'd the Jeep run at the Invasion?

I hope all is well with you two!
We are doing well. Yes we do plan to make it out to Ouray again, but we haven't picked a year. We have been in the process of changing jobs and moving across the state for the last year. After we get moved into the new house that we just bought earlier this month, things should settle down. We'll have more time to work on the Waggy and get it ready for a big trip. The Waggy did well at ECI, but we have some things to maintain and improve: worn out spring bushings, no AC, electrical work on the windows and doors, maybe a truck avenger or fuel injection, soften the front springs, re-build or swap the 360 as it is burning a lot of oil, build the front winch bumper (we have a full scale cardboard design)... and we just discovered a small roof leak at ECI. The Waggy might become a daily driver for the Wife soon so it will need new tires then, the ones we're running are over 10 years old.

We hope you do make it out for ECI sometime; it would be great to see you. Just don't bring the heat with you! ;) Let us know if you need any logistical assistance. ECI is typically held on Father's Day weekend.

We haven't done any big road trips lately. Here are the most recent events other than ECI:

http://fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 1&start=20 (fall ride at Uwharrie)

http://fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2531 (US 64 in NC, part 2)

Now that we live closer to the really scenic places that we enjoy visiting, hopefully we can do some more frequent Waggy adventures.

Couldn't get there

Thanks for sharing the pictures! I just got back state-side. Was really wishing we could have been there again this year. Hoping the timing works out next Summer. We will look to the Fall Ride if one is being planned.
Looks like you had a good time!
