Here are the holes in the firewall that we cut for the heater hoses.

Then I used a jigsaw to cut across from hole to hole. I need all that length so we have room to slide the 90 degree bent heater hose on to the heater core.

These plates will have a weatherproof grommet that the heater hose will pass through.

The evaporator comes with two brackets. The main one bolts it to the firewall, the other one bolts to the dash. I guess they don't want it hanging and possibly breaking the case. The bracket needs to be modified. This is what I did. Cut this piece off of my parts Wagon.

This is it under the dash, it sits on that bottom lip of the dash.

I cut huge ovals in the firewall because I needed the space to get the heater hose with the 90 degree bend on the fitting inside the jeep. Before you start cutting up your firewall, they do make different hard lines bent at different angles, but it will make it harder to get the evaporator in if the dash is already in, like mine was.

Also the glove box won't fit because of where I mounted the evap. I started cutting it up. Not sure if I will ever get it back together, we will see.

Defrost ducts are in. If you can get these in before the dash is installed, do it. Drivers side is easier to do with the cluster out.

I put sealer around the vent where it contacts the under side of the dash. Probably didn't have to do that, but I did.

Also received my 12 inch electric fan and a few fitting from summit. Going to use it as a pusher, no room on the other side of the radiator.
