Anybody ever see this 77 J10???

Post by msullivan1064 »

I will be purchasing this J10 within the week and was wondering if anyone on here has seen this rig before. Currently located in PA. It has frequented the All Breeds Jeep Show until it was parked 7+ years ago. Its a pretty unusual J10. It has a 90s f150 stepside bed and it dumps. Any info on this is greatly appreciated.

I find the rust above the windshield very concerning. Floorboards are prolly pretty bad too.

The bed looks really good from the angle in the picher.

What your seeing is actually black silicone. Im guessing from a windshield replacement. The truck does have rust. Floor boards, fenders, and passenger door jam. It comes with replacement fenders and floor pans.

After what felt like an eternity this J truck is finally mine. Hear are the details:

Factory Snow Boss
Dana 44 Front and Dana 60 Rear 4.10 gearing
Quadratrac replaced with a Dana 20
3.5" Skyjacker lift
32" M/T
AMC 360
Edelbrock performer intake
Holley 4bbl Carb
HEI
Dual Optima Red Tops
Frame Off Restoration completed in 1995

The truck was sitting in a garage for 7 years before I rescued her. So far she runs like a champ. There is some body work in my future to pass the PA inspection. I look forward to learning from this group as I progress on this project.

The bed looks better than I expected. Good luck with your build. Keep posting pics. We love to see what’s out there.

No info on the truck itself, but that bed does look pretty good on it- it wouldn’t take much to graft j truck flares on those ford rear fenders and make it look more like a Sportside.

Looks like a great start!

Quite sure that is not a D44/D60. Since that setup was 8 lug only. Jeep never had a 6 lug, semi-float D60. You should have the standard D44's front and rear.

Really dig the color.

Hope everyone is staying healthy.

Got the dump working this past weekend. Really makes life easier unloading firewood. Also got a pic of the rear. Hard to see in the pic but there is a "60" to the right of the cover.

Can you re-attach these as images, instead of PDF's?
