Y'all reminded me--Sunday afternoon presented a nice opportunity to take my GW out to a nearby dam. Wasn't exactly taking my Chevy to the levee, but it still felt awfully nice.

Also, to help my father-in-law thin out his herd a little bit, I added a Jeep Grand Cherokee with an absurd number of miles to my stable. Useful for pulling around my trailer for hauling mulch/yard stuff and other dirty work. I didn't know this sort of illness set in so quickly.
1987 GW, 202k miles, AMC 360 engine rebuilt 62k ago, all more or less bone stock
1997 Grand Cherokee ZJ, 244k and still going

Nice view! Jeep illness is a life long event once you get started. :fsj:

Bulldog canyon in Arizona on 'pi' day. The mountains in the back are the 'Superstitions'. We are getting some wildflowers too.

Same day. I was tooling up the trail and this group of younger folks were happy to see an old jeep on the trail.

One fun part of wheeling an older rig is folks just like to seem them out being wheeled. Yeah, a 2020 Wrangler is a better platform, more comfortable and easier to find parts for but you have to love the smiles these old jeeps put on peoples faces.

True that. I noticed the group thats most amazed by them are little kids. Lol ive had alot of kids in the 6-12 range that really love the wagoneer. I think its because its so much different than whats on the road these days and its new to them
