Anybody follow David Tracy online?

Post by freehold »

A few years ago I got hooked on reading Jalopnik, and I really appreciate David Tracy, whose die-hard love for old Jeeps is pretty unsurpassed and possibly a diagnosable disorder. If you follow him on Instagram, you'll see a handful of interesting/old/rusted/left-for-dead projects that he's nursing along, including a free-to-him GW he got running after it had sat about a dozen years. A rats nest promptly flew out the tailpipe.

He's on Instagram here https://www.instagram.com/davidntracy/

And he's planning to drive a '94 Grand Cherokee with 260k on the clock from Colorado to Detroit. More on that here: https://jalopnik.com/heres-my-idiotic-p ... 1840388211

When it rains, I drive an MDX

I had a Grand Cherokee although a ‘99 Limited, got rid of it at 310k on the clock , running perfect it was the electric system that was shot ! Possessed windows and security , headlights wonking out , had 4-6 inches of lift on 32” tires ! Even the dreaded a Vari-loks and 247 still worked
4.7 never gave me a problem

So today's post: David Tracy went all the way to Vietnam and found a Wagoneer hiding in plain sight.

...it had a third-row of seating.
