Wheels revised

Post by custom76 »

I know there’s plenty of info on this, but thought I would add my two cents worth plus a question.

Ixnay on the steel wool

Did the usual 400 grit to 3000 grit paper, don’t use an air driven orbital, electric variable at around 1000 RPM’s worked best. I found hand sanding what the sander misses with 2000 then 3000 after final 3000 with polisher helped and a Dremnel with 240 discs do the lug holes perfectly. Finished off with Mother’s aluminum polish.
