Seat fabric

Post by coolhand75 »

Hi guys
Me again. I’m wondering if anybody can help with the seat fabric in mine j10? Everything is green on the inside so I would assume the seat would be too. I’m guessing vinyl. I will attach I pic of my vin number. I’m hoping someone might even have a picture so I can see the pattern. Thanks again Image

Does your truck still have a trim tag on it? (engine bay on the firewall, a rectangular plate, not like the VIN sticker )

It will have a color and trim code on it, in the second row of numbers, two sets of 3 digits (set on the left will be paint code, set on the right will be trim code). Then you can check with the 74-76 Parts Manual on olJeep.com in Group 29 and see what color it shows for your trim code.

Hope that helps.

That's the one!

The manual I linked to (page 5/42) codes to a bench seat in Green Vinyl. (that's the 519 number).

Looking in the General Information tab on that manual (page 15/18) looks like it codes to a Reef Green over Alpine White two-tone color scheme originally (that the 565 number) for the body. (https://oljeep.com/gw/74_76_manual/GENE ... MATION.PDF)

Tgreese, does that look that right?

That sounds right it. Now how might I find a picture of the seat pattern. Or is that to much to ask

These forums are great to research vendors on too. Lots of great folks who can point you to awesome sources (Kaiserjeeps on here, and IFSJA, has worked with them and other fabric shops as well).

Thank you, Tim for confirmation on the codes too!
