Howdy, I’m new

Post by Jeepers »

Hello, I have a Jeep. I dug it out of a patch of weeds three days ago, and got it running around my yard so far. I’m glad to have found this place, because I have to learn about this quadra track mechanism. So many questions.

'73 or '74 I would guess. Fairway Green, unless it's been repainted. Could have been all green and the bottom repainted.

There are TSMs for a handful of years here: https://oljeep.com/edge_parts_man.html The TSM is your single best reference for these vehicles.

Jubilee Jeeps has a page about the Quadratrac that's more conversational than the TSM: http://jubileejeeps.org/quadratrac/index.htm Lots of experience here with these units.

Suggest you add your Jeep's year/model/equipment to your profile and signature file. Since these Jeeps were produced continuously for 30 years, this context matters a lot when you have questions. Your general location would help too.

Nice looking truck! Looks like the body is sound too. How does it run?

Welcome!
As a newbie myself, I can attest to the helpful and friendly nature in these particular environs. Nice rig, love the color combo.
