New to this forum. Picked up a "barn find" 71 Wagoneer with the 360. Tailgate motor functions if I connect it directly to a battery, but all the switches and wires are out because prior owner was trying to do something. Can I keep it simple and wire it so just the key switch functions and bypass the dash switch (which may be missing)? If so, how? Thanks.
Just so you know, it's considered bad form to post the same question in multiple Forums on the same site. It can get confusing if it's a complicated issue.
