Body molding adhesive?

Post by Xplitive »

Need to reattach the molding around the wood grain vinyl on one fender. Is there a particular adhesive to use along with the rivets?
Thanks

3M VHB tape, I doubt you can find anything with a better hold. Don’t forget to degrease the surface before putting it on, and in my experience it sticks better when the surface warm (60 degrees at least).

3m double sided tape works good. Its like red colored. I used it for some 70s style emblems.. and theyve been holding for years
