Radio and clock issue

Post by soilordirt »

Got an 82 jeep j10 that I’m trying to restore. At a junkyard I found a clock and a radio/cb that I’d like to install. Neither work, though. Does the clock run on 12 volts? I think the CB works but not the fm. Does anybody know who could work on these radios?

for radio, check this site...

Good luck...

as for the clock, yes 12 volts, there is a fuse for testing, it needs to be wired 2x for the positive one to keep time running and one more plus for the display, and a third (usually orange) to dim the display when parking or running lights are on. I suspect Red/orange/ IIRC there is a yellow, but forgot the other colors...

POST edit: the emporium does not fix our radios... sorry
