Looking for a machine shop in PNW

Post by berettajeep »

Well I was cleaning the Willys motor I got a little bit ago Roadtrip! and found 2 valve springs broken. So I am going to completely tear the motor to a bare block.

Looking for a good machine shop near me in Astoria Oregon to check for cracks and all that jazz. I am figuring I will have to go to Longview, Portland or Vancouver.

Any recommendations?

I haven't used these guys but I did talk with them about rebuilding a 327 for me and they seemed very knowledgable, easy to work with. They have a good reputation.

I know it's a little late, but if you are still looking. Northwest Connecting Rod in Kent, wa . They are fantastic, used them 4 or 5 times now.
