I do really like the interior. And it is cool to see that its available with a 6sp manual. I actually am not sure of any competitors that offer a manual.
I love how in the commercial for the "Trailhawk" (really ballsy name for a wimpy car) it's on trails that I wouldnt mind taking my Chevy Cobalt (tiny compact car) on, Hell I do take my cobalt on even scarier trails just because some parts of my town dont have paved roads

You can call it a car if you like (Grand Cherokee is not a car IMO), but it does have the best 4wd system ever offered in a Jeep.
I'm not going to call it's capabilities into question...yet. Until I've driven one, I can't really comment. I was actually impressed with the KJ's abilities, in spite of the IFS.
That said, I see a boatload of fail in the looks department. AMC/Renault was smart enough to maintain more than a passing resemblance to the Brooks Stevens designed lines of the original SJ Cherokee when the XJ debuted. This thing looks A LOT like the perennial contender for "ugliest car of all time", the Pontiac Aztek. When you've got the design rights to an instantly recognized classic, USE THEM. How are people supposed to develop a cute little forum signature with that frontend? A few semicolons?
I put pictures of this thing up for the "estrogen test", and my tester/wife wrinkled her nose and said "WTF is that ugly car?". (Okay, maybe my tester might not have been that representative of the female buyer category, since her word to describe the J10 is "sexy".)
My wife likes most of it. She is not sure about the turn signal/headlight setup. But the interior is very nice, and would actually be the perfect Jeep for her. Daily driving with the ability to drive through snow.
