Yup, you always hear Americans _itching about those dang foreign cars, but the reverse is true as well, there are plenty of dumb automotive ideas from the big four. But you do have to admit, European car electrical systems are (were) pretty iffy. :roll:

Working on 70s AMC wiring and electrics is a dream compared to working on 70s Lucas wiring and electrics.

AMC wiring is just GM wiring. With the proper tools, modern automobile wiring is even easier to work on. Gotta love the CAN BUS.
