Lock rites yes and pretty good crawl ratio. It'll drive you into trouble if not careful.

Nice!

I've ran that trail with a Samurai club back in the day...

IIRC, I put a nice ding in the rear diff that day (my son has the Samurai now) when I backed into one of the many granite piles on that trail.

Love the pics...brought back good memories.

Man O Man, this is what I need right now! Long days and nights at work and I'm on the edge of work burn out. Just looking at these pics helps the mind set immensely and gives me reason to keep going... The carrot if you will.

I'm in So Cal so our terrain here is a bit different than this, so I'm thinking a road trip might be in order to view some different scenery. This just might be where I need to go next! Thanks for posting up the pics...

Would not be too much of a trip for you, John Bull is in the big bear mountains. Its not a really easy trail and suites shorter wheelbase rigs. But great scenery in the area for sure.

A heck I didn't know that was in Big Bear I thought it was more northern Ca. I have a couple of Buddy's that have places up there that are always trying to get me to go use their cabins. Maybe now is the time! Ive been all over the So Cal deserts but not the mountains. So much to see and so little time! Thanks for the info. Now its a real tease!

I think a full size chero would make it with big tires and lots of lift. A 4 runner followed us through and we were behind one of those new 4 door jk's? That thing was huge, like 40" tires and lifted to the moon, wide too. Made it look easy. At least I had to pick my lines.
