I need some measurements please

Post by rockcandy »

Can anyone measure their wagoneer or Cherokee width at the frame? Widest point in the middle.

Also, from the outside of the framerail at that same point to the edge of the rocker panel. I'm looking for overall rough width of the body. Thanks!!!

Really anything 70s/80s. That's typically the ones I see for sale.

My frame rails are 40" outside to outside at the widest point, at the middle body mount.
The distance between the outside of the frame to the vertical inner rocker panel is 11".

Hope this helps you.

You going t build us some nice sliders that bolt to the frame? Or maybe some of those cool drop-down steps like the amp or best top ones?
One day I will wake up and realize that my jeep is complete...one day, I just know it.

No sliders without a rig to build on. Just doing a little research.
