So I think I'm ready to try to fire up Truck Norris on Sunday. I'm going to be wheeling on Saturday. Anyone interesting in coming by and poking fun at me while I try to figure out what I screwed up?
Edit: now rescheduled and actually going to happen.

I don't think derf would go that route. I can see him getting so mad he hurts his foot kicking something, but not setting it on fire. Presumption aside he really attacked the details so I would guess any issues he ran or is currently running into are big obvious things that can be easily addressed once identified.

Well, I did get some work done this weekend. But I got a late start and there was more to do than I thought. So no test fire just yet. I'll try to tackle the rest of it this week and maybe be ready to try it out next Saturday.
On hold while I was putting the Atlas into the Wrangler (along with an upgraded clutch) in time for my Moab trip. Which got delayed because the Atlas has the wrong input shaft. No worries though, they're sending me a new planetary box with the right input shaft and it's just 6 bolts to swap it over in the garage.
I will get back to everything when I get back from Moab after this weekend.
While it sucks not to have the Atlas installed in time for Moab, I'm still going as a passenger so I'll get to take a lot of pictures and video.
Besides, I'll be heading out to Moab again at the end of June with another group so I'll get to drive the Atlas equipped Wrangler then.
And, oh by the way, in case you're wondering about what I'm doing while the truck and Wrangler are apart, I picked up a 2001 XJ to use as a daily driver a couple weeks back.
So after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I am actually and truly ready to fire up the truck. I'd like to do it some evening this week. I need a hand with a couple of last minute adjustments and it would help to have an extra set of eyes to watch a few things when I prime the oil pump.
Also, I could use a camera operator to film the event.
If anyone has some free time and wants to come over, let me know.
