new to forum. 78 j10

ive been in ifsja and jeepforum for a while but not here til now. i have a 78 j10 with built 401. th400. dana 20. dana 44 from j20 with new bearings and hubs, ez locker. dana 60 rear with trac lock. sits on 6" and 315 75 16 kumho road venture at tires and american racing rims. custom bumpers and ramsey winch. needs brake work and radiator.

Welcome aboard Eric to the best darn FSJ forum anywhere! Nice J10 you have and of course the built 401 I'm sure is sweet. I've got a built 360 Javelin AMX with over 450 hp, but I've always wished i had a 401 - 'there is no replacement for displacement'! Would love to hear more about your J10 as I'm sure other members would also. Again, welcome aboard!

my ultimate goals include a teralow 3.15-1, spring over, 35s or 37s, hydroboost brakes, rear locker or spool. as it sits it will climb well but ive been figuring out its weaknesses and slowly (as $$$ allows) addressing them. i plan on using a go-pro camera to video some of the action this summer.

i took it up chihuahua gulch (rated a moderate trail) this past summer but my front driveshaft was out for repairs so i did it in 2wd low. :D

when i was in the 10th Mtn in New York I found the tank traps. made it thru this hole twice than got stuck.
