I owned this J10 and built it at 16 years old. Just found it and bought it again 2 months ago (over 25 years later). It did not receive any love in that time. Let's just empty ever pocket again. I did not learn the first time. Looks like some of you ended up with the original parts (compare photos). Hope to have it drivable for Easter Jeep Safari.

I like how you continued the hood stripe over the roof back then. Cool! It's pretty amazing you found it again. Congrats
73 J4000. 360, MC 2100, T18A, D20, stock closed knuckle Dana 44 front, 60-2 rear. Warn Lock-O-Matics, Warn/Belleview electric winch, true duals with glasspacks, old-school front diff skid plate, used 265 Toyos on 16" AR wheels.
It's the same truck. Very cheaply repainted, missing badges and original grill. I recessed in the taillights the first time I owned it. I think I still like that look. That was also a very well fitting tonnneau cover. I original did the work when I was 16 with no idea of what I was doing or how rare the truck was.
In Durango, CO. Currently pulled the gas tank and working on electrical. Engines has not run in a few years. In a few weeks should know if I'm keeping the current 360 or putting 401 in it. With color I will keep the same look. Might change is to a light grey with dark grey accents. Overall trying to decided how far to take it or if I should get it to a certain point and sell.
