Forum Theme Change

Post by Stuka »

Figured I should post this up in case anybody had any questions. And if you do, please read this post first:

https://www.fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewto ... 52#p218652

I do think I am going to make some tweaks to some of the colors. And also going to talk to the developer of this theme about adding something to separate signatures from the main posted content, as right now they kind of just run together.

If anybody has any questions, or input, feel free to post it up.

Oh, and I will likely look at some other themes, and may add them in for people to use.

Hey Stuka, since the update, I can receive PMs, but if I try to send them, they just sit in my outbox, not going anywhere. Any chance I'm doing something wrong?

There are 2 major differences between new Wranglers and FSJs. FSJs are meant to be both utilitarian and capable, not just capable. FSJs are also rarely initially recognized as Jeeps by the average American.

Looks good. I noticed a bit of offline time, but other than that, seamless. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date!

Outbox means they are sent, but have not been read by the receiver. This has not changed. I wish the wording wasn’t more clear, as you are not the first to ask this.

The offline time during mid week was caused by an issue at the host. This was out of my hands sadly. But thankfully it was not out for too long.

I like it, i was posting as it suddenly transitioned. Looks a more modern the old theme was pretty dated

Sounds good, thanks Stuka. On my phone, the Outbox usually means that the email hasn't actually sent yet, so I just assumed that was what this was.

Yeah, I had been using the old theme since 2015. This one has a lot more features, and works better on mobile devices for those not using tapatalk.

Yes, its confusing. Not sure why PHPBB chose that wording, but its annoying.
