well, the final piece of the minion hauler was completed today
after a decision to gut the orig.cruise control system electro-mechanical/vacuum junk and go with the rostra the only part i thought i could salvage was the vss signal generator, well that was the whole issue of the cruise control not working, the orig.signal generator is not,not compatible (wrong frequency signal) to controller, well after buying their vss sender the cruise control works perfectly, and now my friends it is time to now drive this beast trouble free, i will keep ya'all posted on our trips, have a 9 day overland trip in late march.

So, their VSS plugs in the factory speedo cable divide underhood near firewall?

Dakota Digital makes a pass through VSS generator that connects to your mechanical Speedo cable connection at the transmission/transfer case and provides the needed 8k signal. It will also work from the tack signal from your alternator.

Yes it plugs in where the oem vss did, looks exactly like the oem part, dont know for sure if the oem was bad or not, just plugged theirs in to their harnass and everything works .
