Rocky is Semi retiring!!

Post by rocklaurence »

So, due to after COVID restructuring I'm going to retire. However, it's more like semi-retiring because this allows me to spend more time on the FSJ business RockLaurence Vintage Auto Parts and YouTube videos. I'm excited to get going and my first endevour is to launch the FSJ Long Travel suspension system. I've been taking kit pictures for the online store and will be making an installation video. Lord willing I'll be able to stay busy, four wheel more and grow the business. Stay tuned and I appriciate this groups support.

Congratulations! I keep eyeing that prize, however with life’s roadblocks it’s not looking favorable but definitely support anyone that can make it happen.

Life is short, we are not promised tomorrow, live like tomorrow is never coming but remember to plan like it might.

That has been my motto for the last 30 years. It has served me well and allowed me to do some really special and phenomenal things. However it hasn’t helped me on the future planning, spent a lot of resources traveling, building toys and enjoying life. I travel domestically on average 20,000 miles per year enjoying our beautiful country. That doesn’t include the 15,000 or so commuting and doing normal life stuff. I never fly for recreation, always drive, never get to see sights from 40,000 feet 😂
The bus I ride is so short it is a yellow Smart Car full of squirrels, monkeys and clowns.

My first sign of progress since retiring is that I was able to post-up my new Long Travel suspension system. I've been working on this for several years. After 2 years driving on these springs, I'm confident that they will provide the best ride of any lift kit made and will last.

Yes, the Grind is something that I've wanted to do away with for years. Im tired of working for someone else but I still wake up and think that I need to check in at work and see what meetings I have to be in.
