I've come across write up on this, just in last 2-3 months, but evades me which forum it was on.
With the right product, and some hand work, they polished up really nice.
Any leads on a google search?

Hi guys. Anyone have any suggestions on refinishing these aluminum bumpers. Thanks
If you don't care if they get shinier than OEM you can sand off the anodizing and polish them up to an almost chrome-like finish.. that's what I plan to do.
