Just finished this Cherokee Chief Build

Post by jeep ranch »

Just completed this Chief build

Started with a fairly solid 80 Cherokee 360 widetrack with a bit of front end body damage.

The best things about the Cherokee was its low mileage (80k) and factory 4 speed.

here are a few of the mods

Rhino grille conversion
rear spoiler
custom front bumper and winch
79 j20 axles
Nv4500 tranny and twinsticked Dana 300
New paint
Rhino hood
HEI
holley truck avenger
6 inch lift
custom rocksliders
rebuilt front seats
modern stereo
custom door panels
new winshield

Im sure I left out a lot. The Holley and HEI really woke up the 360, heres some pix and you get a couple Commando Curs wanting to know what the heck Im doing to their truck

WOW, looks good. I went a similar approach, red, black, Rhino, lift. It's like a 'brother from another mother'....

I really dig the cherokee chief stripes you have.

A bit of a poser shot:
