Under hood lighting

Yellowed? None whatsoever, and driven every day. I put about 60 miles a day average during the week, and maybe 20-30 a day on the weekends.
I will go out and take a photo of the current state in a few minutes...
Not the best pics but they will do.

My biggest complaint is that the foil facing on my hood insulation let loose about a month ago.

Add another project to the list...

Actually, most LED's that are white in colour will not yellow.

As cheaper LED's age they will turn more blue. Most white LED's are actually blue high output, and have a phosphorus coating on the top of them (the yellow you see when not on).
The phosphorus coating is what makes them white, much like a fluorescent light works.

So most of these Chinese LED's as they get older they will turn more blue.
A few manufactures like CREE, have designed an LED system that colour mixes red, and amber to produce a white light. Others have taken RGBA red, green, blue, amber to mix different colour temperatures. But CREE also makes cheep LED's as well, so just because the manufacture says that they use CREE does not mean they are that great.
There are things in play called "binning" that mean a lot is the LED world. 8-)

Its not the LEDs that yellow, but the goo they put them in. I have had that clear gel turn yellow on the older LED strips, just have not played with the new ones...

IIRC, long term use of the blue can cause eye damage
