Wheels

Post by CherokeeCraig »

Where do you guys find just the regular black wheels like the old wagon wheels for your FSJ? All I can find is wheels with bling on them or spokes. I just want the old basic in a 16 inch wheel.

I know Wagon Wheels as being the one with spokes or D holes. I buy these at Summit.

Be careful with 16" wheels. They have more back spacing and could cause clearance issues on NT rigs. WT should be fine though.

You want 2wd '88 up Chev 16" rims for correct backspace. 4x4 ones will hit the tierods before you even put the bolts tight!

I cut down the mightiest tree in the forrest with a herring. I then carved out wheels using only a sponge. Finally I painted them black from my dried blood after poking myself thousands of times with a closed safety pin!

Cragar soft 8s are my favorite. They are round hole versus the D style.

D hole in the rear (haha!), round Soft 8s in the front:

I meant to get ones that are made to fit the Chev 2wd 88 up.
