Tech Tip intermittent wiper module cheap!

This should be for anything '86-'91.
XJ/YJ probably other models use the same part.
56006957 is the one you want.

The wipers on my '90 were problematic when I got it.
Delay funky worked randomly and @ whatever interval delay it felt like that day.
Wipers wouldn't park properly when turned off.

I removed over a year or more ago because I got sick of the wipers not working properly.

Today I decided to replace it. Got a module from a '96 XJ @ local yard.
Worked like a charm.
Cost was $10.91

So don't go buying an outrageously overpriced priced module online.
I think some vendor was charging ~$100 or close @ one time.

Yep

You can even swap out for an entire XJ steering column. All the wiring is the same.

Then, with a little welding, you can end up with the 'good' ujoint style steering shaft rather than the stock rag joint.

Where exactly is the module located. I have looked under the dash and can't figure it out. I have fast and faster no intermittent on my 91
