Partial crossover??????????????????????
is that like being a little bit pregnant?
Some intakes have full length heat risers that go from one cylinder head to the other, these are called continuous heat riser manifolds. Other intakes have shortened heat risers that do not pass from one cyl head to the other, these are called abbreviated, or partial heat riser manifolds. The guy was right, oil wont burn on most aluminum intakes or any intake with abbreviated heat risers. Do you really think Edelbrock would reccommend the wrong gaskets for their intakes???? buy a clue hotshot!
LOL bought a fact don't need the clue. One
I used gaskets & a valley pan just like I said in my previous post my edelbrock does go from one side to the other un abbreviated. Not saying they don't exist but they don't in the 2131. Mine got hotter than well you know. Now it doesn't
The pictures show the intake (did you look at the pictures???) I have it's an Edlebrock see the 2 exhaust ports????? It's exactly what I have. Edelbrock does not say don't use the valley pan & I don't have to use their gaskets. I never said anything about any oil burning or referenced any aluminum conductance to cast iron. So what is that all about???????. You must have gotten confused somehow.
Read the threads dude!
