TBI Adapter to Intake

Post by Renodemona »

Greetings!
It looks like I am about to go down the TBI swap road. I have the stock 4-barrel manifold. Which Trans-Dapt adapter works? Saw that 2210 was used on Jason's, but I do not have square-bore intake. Thank you!

It would help to know what year FSJ and what intake you do have. Sounds like it might be the factory spreadbore design for the MC 4350 carb. If this is true, the Transdapt 2199 will get you to a square bore 4bbl pattern then stack the 2 bbl adapter on it. I am not sure 2210 is what you want either. It looks very thin...

Ah, right you are!
'76 Cherokee 360 factory 4-barrel with the 4350. I suppose I should go over to the general area and introduce myself here too!

It IS a bit thin. I had to do a slight amount of material removal but I'm getting 100% throttle at WOT.

I have full CNC machined adapters for most applications. I didn't like most of the commercial ones out there so I designed my own.

Those look pretty sweet! How much you charge for one? 4350 manifold. Would it breath ok going into the 4-barrel intake?

they are $80
They are designed to work on spreadbore and squarebore intakes.
The undercut on the bottom helps the flow to all 4 manifold bores instead of a carb that runs progressive primary and then secondary.

It's also centered over all 4 bores vice front or rear mount.

No need to stack adapters with this one and no need for one of those open performance adapters added under the throttle body.

You can always click a link in my sig to see all the designs I have.
