I'd be more than willing to make the sacrifice and selflessly give you my QT in trade for that crappy old Atlas thing.Blake wrote:nice
I guess that at some point in time, I'm gonna have to remove my 4spd atlas and install a QT as they are apparently all the rave!
Or I could part with many very "rare" 229 for your unmentionable map thingy.Tatsadasayago wrote:I'd be more than willing to make the sacrifice and selflessly give you my QT in trade for that crappy old Atlas thing.Blake wrote:nice

Hey I am actually putting this kit in with a rebuilt 700R and my quadratrac. I had a problem with fitting though.. the output shaft of the 700 sticks out too far so when I put the spud shaft on and insert it into the quadratrac, there is about 3 cm of gap between transfer case housing and the advance adapter that is installed to the output housing of the 700. They say you need to have the original T case using, which I think I do. It came off a TH400..Cataldo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2016 6:28 pm I have that kit on my 700r4 currently. It is waiting for me to dedicate a full weekend to swapping it in. The Components look to be plenty strong and well engineered. It also says that it keeps the overall lengths exactly the same! So no fabbing mounts or worrying about rear drive shaft. The Front Drive shaft CV joint is supposed to be a problem.
Alright, so my dumbass just didn’t realize I needed to modify the 700 output shaft.. got it all in now! Anyone who has done this, have you had any issues with the crossmember? I am off by about 1/4 inch from original mounting point.TheShagoneer wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 4:01 pmHey I am actually putting this kit in with a rebuilt 700R and my quadratrac. Has anyone else tried this yet? Am I missing a housing extender on the 700? Do I have the wrong Tcase housing adapter on?
