Project Super Cherokee, Nikkormat's 74 Cherokee DD Build

OK, I've finally decided what the Cherokee is going to transform into. A more sporty utilitarian 2 door Super Wag. So basically, the way it is with a console and some custom CNC emblems. Here's the planned list so far...

- Period Correct CB and Radio
- Super Wag Console, actually second guessing this. Maybe custom to retain column shift. But it will be in the style of the super wag console.
- Cooling system upgrades including new rad, oil cooler, and remote transmission cooler
- Repaint in stock colors (Trans Am Red and White)
- New Vynil stripes and stock patterned seats
- Period Correct IPF fog lights
- Repair crash damage
- Repair Rust
- Add tow hitch receiver
- Add on board air
- Period Correct Tach on Super Console
- Small Lift, 2-4 inches with 30's or 31's
- Period Correct Gutter Mount Roof Racks for my summer job. One of those trick 70's aluminum ones.
- Discrete Winch Bumper, factory style or a receiver type
- Maybe a 12SI welder and alternator. At minimum a new alternator.
- Sliding tool boxes and trays in bed with a cover system, to hide all my tools and gear
- Custom Razor Grille Trim Brow with AMC Logo or the likes of that
- Period Correct bumper stickers
- Front and rear lockers, maybe ox similar.

Parts acquired list...

- CB, radio, and speakers! Still looking for an AM FM CB antenna that will mount in the stock location, but I've got some leads...

- Fog lights, purchased on eBay but have yet to arrive. Still need switch relay wiring ECT...

- Factory TSM, found and purchased

- A new razor grill to replace my uh... warped one. Actually I have two now.

- Mig for rust repair, home depot cheapie that I have yet to try.

- New stock bumper

- One of the few bumper stickers I wanted. Orange and black "Back down to double nickle", a joke about the jeeps cruising speed. Now I need to find a " Sh happens" and a "CO".

- Eagle claw Spin Fly and a Garcia Mitchell 330
