We build em tough and lots of research or at least try. I am not re-inventing the wheel. This was done before by Bill Cosby (not actor) you can see his rig on Magna Flows website. It was featured in about 2017-2017 in several 4 wheel drive magazines. I am just build a little more powerful engine wise. And using a fleet side instead of bobbed box.
Anybody have a link to the magazine build

So my engine is all done. Time to do the transmission part. Going to build one of my numerous spare core transmissions. Here we have a 2001 Tahoe 4L60E....
GOOD THING TO HAVE A MASTER TRANSMISSION BUILDER IN HOUSE.
And it starts.

Kind of what my Frame will look like. So many pictures of Bill’s truck.. feel like a Frankie groupie....
He bobbed his bed. I will not. I will be extending rear of frame and adding another cross member....lol
How Bill lifted the mounts. And used old hockey puck body mounts.
Copying is flattery correct?
Not really gonna be that daunting. Bill already did the hard work...design me such...

So went to my bone pile. And picked out parts to start assembling a frame.
Just one pile of factory pull offs from several Jeep JK’s and JKU’s with some TJ, MJ, XJ’s thrown into the mix. This is just one pile of several I have.

Getting the frame into the shop. One advantage of being owner and Jeep hoarder. Weekends are always for building. As long as wifey does not have honey do’s. I spent Saturday looking at Jeep’s for daughter. She found a 2017 Sport JKU. So will be buying that for her this coming Friday.

Being a hoarder. I have a spare set of JKU axles laying around. You can also see the 241C transfer case on the pallet. It already has been Slip Yoke eliminated.
