The Vehicross has been catching my eye lately as I see a couple in town, had no clue what they were tho. Other than the plastic they look like they'd do alright offroad.

There was a long thread on JF about the 2014 Cherokee and I pointed out the *only* visual clue it was a Jeep (Chrysler) was the vertical slots that somewhat function as a grille. Further, if the slots were gone it would be hard to distinguish from any other European'esque SUV on the market. I guess it really ticked them off because they grew very defensive, and to prove the point I erased the slots in Photoshop and I was dead on

Not impressed...
They same thing could be said for nearly any Jeep ever made outside of a Wrangler/CJ.
Any SUV style Jeep could be from ANY make if you removed the grill.
