^ Holland huh? You can bet that thing is in amazing condition. Trying to keep old vehicles licenced over there is a huge ordeal. No rusty, leaky, clunkers allowed.
LOL No.
I usually lurk here, but I just have to say that you can buy the biggest piece o' crap from Holland. Ask me how I know
I picked up a '68 Wagoneer from Holland (I'm in Germany) in July. It passed inspection in May (good for 2 years). It leaks out of every possible place it could leak from...and then some! The underside is just coated. It's also rotten - mostly from the inside out. Numerous holes in the floor, in the wheel wells, and tailgate, and door hinge area. It's one of the worst cared for biggest piles o' junk I've seen in awhile. With some poorly done work. So Holland is a joke to me - or you can just pay people off, there is no way this thing meets any of their requirements.
So me, an idiot, is attempting to save it but there is a 95% chance it is going to scrap. I've mostly stripped it and will have someone take a look this week to see if it is worth even sending to the tank - for a chemical dip for paint and rust removal. I don't know if there'd be anything left.
Oh and it also passed inspection with the "Oil" light on because the engine had low to no oil pressure.
So yes, I am salty about Holland at the moment and people that don't deserve to have these ol' Wags.
