Need TBI tuning help-Tunerpro issue

I need help tuning my TBI set up. 7747 ecm and using Tunerpro. Trying to set the idle speed but I can't figure it out in Tunerpro. There seems to be no setting relevant to idle speed vs coolant temp.

I set the ignition timing by the book to 15*BTDC and unplugged the distributor wire first.

I then jumpered the ALDL, unplugged the IAC, fired it up and set idle to 600 and verified .054V at the TPS.

After that I reconnected the distributor and the IAC and the idle speed of the car is over 1000RPM. I have the BIN reflecting the proper Initial SA.

Thanks

Is this a junkyard TBI setup or howell or some other? Does the computer control spark? Its been a while since I have messed with TBI setups but if you can get me your bin I can take a look.

Did you change the timing table to account for the 15* initial timing?

With everything hooked up how much timing @ idle?
With a timing light...and what does tunerpro data show for timing?
Can you upload a datalog?

With vacuum on or off the distributor?

No VAC at the distributor. With spark control. This was a kit from "Performance Fuel Injection"

Timing set in Tunerpro. I will try and get a BIN and log

This is on the Eagle.

The TBI on the J10 worked pretty good until the 258 valve cover claimed another victim...Blew the engine last June. The J10 is receiving a 4.0/NV3550 from a 2003 TJ. Also FINALLY found those seats I've been hunting for!

There's quite a bit changed and some that should be but isn't.
I recommend you click the link and scroll down towards the bottom till you get to the "Tuning and Programming Chips" section of the FAQ's.

The key to tuning is the KISS principle.
Do not make changes to things your not sure how they impact the rest of the tune.
Start with a clean bin like the ASDU and then follow the tuning guide.
