Here's my 1991 project.

Found it through the motor masters.

It was filthy when delivered but after a jump started up. I had to clean everything, had acorns in the air filter box. Gave it plenty of baths and now it started leaking oil at the drain plug. The rear window is tricky, all the windows work but none of the inside door latches.

Reading on how to clean the switches and I need to take apart the door interior to get the latches working from the inside. Might be a good idea.

No Ac working and the heater doesn't work.

Came with Katzkin leather seats but I found original seats and back seat is perfect. Cleaning cleaning for now and will do full frame off, at least that's my plan.

In shop for new shocks, leaf springs and undercarriage work.

So I traded my neighbor for some work and got his 2008 hemi jeep. Thinking of doing that swap but really want the ecodiesel V6 from FCA. I drive a 2014 and love it!

I'll keep the original engine and plan on getting CME to rebuild it if I ever want it to be original.

Right now looking for complete Jeep or Ram for the engine, could spend 28K from Gale Banks, but why? And I don't have California money, or not yet anyway.

How is your build coming? You haven't posted in a while.

Thanks

I would recommend looking at the Cummins Repower 2.8 in my completely totally unbiased opinion<read: very biased>

Was the katzkin installed? If so, what do you think of the kit?

if you do the ecodiesel swap on this vehicle, delete all the emissions stuff and you will love it even more!
I daily a '14 as well and deleted the egr and gave it a tune, massive difference!
