That’s some serious snow- you need that j20 to plow it all!

Just seeing this. What an awesome rig! I actually real dig the idea of the motorcycle bumpers. I would love to have something like that for my Chief at some point. Could totally see a CB550 or some sort of enduro on the back. Would just make any overland trip perfect!

I agree; someone was ahead of the curve back in the day. They guy who bought it plans on finding a vintage motorcycle to fit in that space.

It looks too dark to be antifreeze...not that I would ever put antifreeze in the gas tank, but who knows? Does it smell like old gasoline?

It is pretty dank smelling gas. I’m pretty sure it is some type of algae in the tank, though.

JEEP Adventures in the PNW.

I drove to Colfax, WA. Today to pick up a 56 Plymouth. I took 195 down and came back mostly on Highway 27, but zigzagged on every backroad imaginable. The 56 Plymouth was my car back in high school. I also had a 57 Belvedere. My stepfather sold the 55 for scrap and the 57 went to Montana while I was in boot camp. So naturally I’ve been looking on and off again for one. It’s cool it ended up being one from the year in-between those two I had.

There quite a few more spare parts, too. I’m pretty sure I’m maxed out for space and rigs.

This is cool.
I have a pink and black original paint 1956 windsor 4 door that I have yet to do anything to. Mostly because of a 58 Chevy fleet side long bed I've been fixing on while waiting on parts for my 81 Cherokee project. 1950's cars/ trucks are just cool. Now what to do will all of my other widetrack Cherokees?Image

Whoa, sorry, I just saw your post. Your 56 Windsor looks really solid! How long have you had it?

I took my 56 Willys to the property to burn some of the slash piles, good news is that the slash piles are super dry, bad news is that they’re covered in over a foot of snow. I built a 4’ fire pit out of thick cor-ten steel and had a fire pit all day while I cleaned a few accessible places up.

I went to an auction in a small farming town an hour west of Spokane to look at some flat fenders (and possibly buy one):

This one went for 1300:

This one “ran when parked” and was the most complete (2600):

The following three were basket cases, no titles: 200, 300, and the green one went for 500.

This one was for sale south of here, for 5k. Title, but not a runner- motor and tranny seized:

I came home empty-handed.
