Sniper 2bbl vs 4bbl

Post by Anvil-3 »

So I am still early in my build, but as a young’n I don’t want to deal with carburetor stuff. I was pricing out an upgrade on my 89 GW from the 2bbl carb to a 4 barrel sniper and performer intake etc. However I was wondering what’s the real performance difference between a 2 or 4 barrel when it comes to TBI?
I’m not looking to build a hard core off-roader, mostly this will cruise on weekends and see very light off-road trails to go car camping for a weekend with the family or something. Because of this my main concern is reliability and mpg.
Thanks in advance!
Mike

the 2300 is good for up to 350 h.p. so unless your eng. is built , its probably not worth he extra $$$ im putting on a 2300 on my 83 cherokee

For the vast majority of AMC V8s the 2v is plenty.
