Does anyone have a trick to get the back window to roll up?
I’m guessing the motor went out and it’s down.
Is there a manual option?

I would remove cover and jump 12v directly to the motor at the connection . Maybe problem is switch and not motor. Worth a shot.

There’s no built in way to manually roll it up, as far as I know. And the fact that window is down means that you can’t get to the motor right away - glass is between you and motor/regulator.

I’d suggest unclipping regulator arms from window lifter channel (horizontal bar at the bottom of the glass), sliding window up manually (don’t forget to support it) and then dealing with motor itself.

Now factory clips/washers at the end of regulator arms are extremely tricky to get off, especially when the glass is down, you might have to drill 2 access holes in the tailgate or use something like a long flat screwdriver, bent to shape, to get them off.

Maybe someone else will chime in with a better solution

Ok. Thanks. That’s the best answer I’ve been given so far.

if youe window is completly down remove the clips and arms from the window slide it up and check the motor, but i would check the tailgate door at the lower drivers side door corner thats wher the tailgate wires pass thru from the chassi to the tail gate and withe bending point is very tight and the wires can break at that point also if you follow the wire dowm to the frame you will see th 5 wire connector, power to the tail gate is always on(hot) regardless of ignition key as you have to open the tailgate from the back good luck on your findings
