Full Size Jeep Network

I'm in the process of working on a 78 Jeep Cherokee for a customer. Problem is the Jeep is over 4,000 miles away from me. The hood release handle is missing but I have a replacement. However I do not have a bolt to attach it. I was wondering if anyone knew the size and type of bold that holds the hood release handle to the hood. Also does anyone know what type spring it use to retract it.

If you are still needing this, I have the bolt still from my old hood (razor grill type handle from a '77- no release in the cab), and two springs that I had with it (unsure if they are correct, but were in the same bag).
