TITD Elvis run 2021

Post by will e »

In Ouray Heimeken and I discussed an Elvis run during the 2021 TITD celebration. I messed around with the Jeep some over the summer and I think I am ready to go. We can either run it Friday or Sunday. I don't want to mess with it on the dinner day since crap happens and I am normally involved with the cooking stuff. I plan on arriving Friday so we can do it afternoon or wait till Sunday, run the trail and then camp another night. I am good either way.

Who's interested?

Interested but that’s right after the FSJ trip to Las Cruces.
Might be intact, might not, that’s how Cruces works.
I’ve given up on trailering my rig up since it never happens for anyone in this group.
But I will be there in something.

I will go. Last time I did Elvis I got some trail rash. Friday would probably be best since most people pack and leave Sunday. I plan on being there on Thursday
Tomorrow we may face destiny, we may fight and die and fall to the fires of perdition, but tonight is ours, and we drink and make merry.

Cool Tad. I will get to camp on Friday as well, a bit later than 9am. The wife and I are going to be in Oak Creek until Thursday night but I will try to be as ready to go as possible.

Looking at this years vids from after the rain this line looks more filled in now and the easy side to the right side of the Jeep looks harder.

This actually looks harder.

The up and over looks more filled in with sand as does the squeeze.
This should be fun.
