I’m making and selling door vapor barriers or as Jeep called them, Door Waterdams. I’m using 4 Mil plastic sheeting, the same as the originals. I have used my original barriers as templates. They have all the correct cutouts and slits. It an easy piece to replace and will protect your door cards, electronics and keep water out of the inside.

I made a couple of these myself out of thin plastic. I had mine cover the door hinge holes too. There's a lot of air that blows through those holes.

How do you glue yours on?

I use strip caulk. This makes it easy to remove the barrier and reinstalled without destroying it like the factory glued type. I include the strip caulk in the kit.
