Need part numbers for heater blower 1977

Post by Grand_Wag_85 »

I am trying to put a new blower motor and squirrell cage into my 77 J10. Autopart stores do not list anything for this application. I have dug thru some old IFSJA threads but after trying the suggested parts they do not fit my truck. I'm thinking there was a change from 1977-1978

You know it's bad when your car is on the EPA's 10 most wanted list!

Looking at the parts book, not sure which parts you need. Group 13 in the '74-80 parts book. Maybe it splits '77 to '78. The book is available on CD-ROM for nominal cost on RockAuto.

From what I've been able to tell they look to be the same blowers as square body Chevy trucks have. Couldn't swear to it, but that's what I can tell.

There are 2 major differences between new Wranglers and FSJs. FSJs are meant to be both utilitarian and capable, not just capable. FSJs are also rarely initially recognized as Jeeps by the average American.
