Running board type, or single door like adapting electric camper steps?

He doesn't have much details on them. But SonoraEd put power steps meant for a 2dr Wrangler JK onto his J10. You can see a photo here:

I'm interested too. This is one of the things I have constantly floating around in the back of my mind for when I finally get my Wag on the road. Got a free pair of geared motors from some recliners to maybe use.

Looking for steps on my CJ5 and Wagoneer, and considering electric if I can find them priced right used. Amazing how pricey the RV industry parts have gotten, so looking for a burned out carcass or such, to get cheaper.

If your rockers already need some work you might be able to use a system from a late '00s early '10s Ford Expedition--those have a very clean look where the step folds up cleanly when the doors are closed and they fold down as a complete step the rest of the time.

I'm also looking for a set for my 2D Cherokee widetrack. I've tried talking to the guys at AMP research and they won't sell you anything if you tell them the application. Only direct fit units.

I've looked at Aries and while I like to fact it actually provides two steps it doesn't really tuck in for a clean when stowed. they have a set of brackets (1/2 brackets I guess) for custom install as well which is nice. you fab from the frame or rocker to the back side of the bracket.

I saw a build from the guys at jeepheritage out of Texas that had a set. I called and talked to them. They told me they had to source all the various bits and then build custom brackets. They told me they are putting a kit together they plan to sell at some point. They're working on brackets to fit OE frames as many of their builds use custom/modified frames. No clue on timing.

Gonna have to go back and read the tread from Sonared. His look nice and might be the ticket. Want to see how they look when they are stowed.

The above won't likely be inexpensive but may be options worth considering depending on the look you are after.
