What do you guys do for grab handles ?

Just curious what you guys do for grab handles to get in your FSJ.. The pillars on these jeeps are tiny, and they rust too so im weary of screwing into them and causing more places to rust, yet theyre the only spots i can see to use sheet metal screws on for a grab handle.

The occasion i get an elderly person, which has happened a few times or a "fat" person haha, or someone too weak to get into my wagoneer i always gatta lock arms with them to pull them in my Jeep.. Which is silly.. its only 2 inchs lifted and 31s..

So im thinking of adding some handles, but not sure which or what you guys do or the best place to putem ?

I know it may sound silly but i got some black ones from a 5.9 limited grand cherokee that fold down when not usedwas thinking of screwing those on for now.. but yea

Evil Twin used to sell them. They screw into the A pillar.
I also have some that velcro wrap around the roll cage but not everyone has a roll cage.

The velcro to roll bar ones I also thought of mounting in mine, but above the door about front where cab meets A pillar. To me looks like better support there, and more handy than on the A pillar. If needed I could mount a pipe the full length of the door between A & B pillar, then velcro pull to that......
Pipe of course would be small diameter but thick wall for support, maybe 3/8 to 1/2" OD pipe, and sure we can all think of using the inside for storage somehow?

Evil Twin (Bob Stephens) made them. I think he is going to start making them again. I would check with him.

I used 3/4" tubing, smashed the ends, put 1/4"-20 nutzerts into A pillar. I absolutely love mine. It makes it easier for me to jump in, not to mention riders.
